MakerBot Method 3D printer
MakerBot Method is a new product that represents the first demonstration 3D printer based on industrial technologies. The equipment is unique because it harmoniously manages to combine the advantages of industrial and personal 3D printers in one device. This means that the equipment looks like a personal printer, but its power and capabilities are comparable to industrial models. MakerBot Method is characterized by the highest reliability and accuracy: printed models are exactly the same as designed, and the accuracy rate is ± 0.2 mm or ± 0.002 mm per millimeter of travel. Data obtained from internal tests of certain geometric models. When compared with popular desktop models, the MakerBot Method, with identical settings (layer, height and infill density), prints at twice the speed. Of course, this advantage can only be assessed subject to certain geometric parameters of the model. And the printing process itself is seamless, which is also an advantage. The MakerBot Method is built on an ultra-rigid metal frame. It has been specially structurally optimized and runs under the entire body of the device, which allows it to compensate for bending. This ensures consistent, accurate parts and minimizes waste. MakerBot Method is equipped with two extruders, each with active sensors that detect the presence of material, problems in its movement (jamming, etc.). These sensors can essentially be considered effective autonomous protection, responsible for your 3D printer and print quality in general. In addition there is a double drive with a gear ratio of 19:1. More power equals more performance is the motto of the MakerBot Method. Material loaded and ready for extrusion – reliability in every layer. MakerBot Method is equipped with an extended thermal core, which, coupled with fast startup time, ensures that the 3D printer is ready to immediately start printing at any time, which ensures uninterrupted operation. The material is provided with sealed, completely dry compartments with an almost perfect seal. This allows you to reliably protect the filament from harmful humidity. For control, there is a system of built-in sensors that evaluate temperature and humidity. All this guarantees optimal storage conditions. This function was previously used only in industrial equipment.
