The IMPRINTA Hercules G3 DUO 3D printer is a modification of the latest professional FDM printer from the Russian company IMPRINTA, equipped with two high-temperature extruders. At the same time, the G3 DUO is a fairly compact desktop device capable of quickly and accurately printing functional and conceptual prototypes of any complexity. The printer has a completely enclosed metal case with a high level of thermal insulation. The construction area with dimensions of 300x200x300 mm is located inside an active sealed thermal chamber, in which a constant temperature of up to 65 degrees is maintained. The printing bed heats up to 150 degrees. The working chamber contains an effective air purification system with a replaceable carbon filter. The proprietary Hercules TwinHot V2 dual high-temperature extruder has a maximum temperature of 420 degrees, active air cooling and an all-metal hotend with a titanium thermal barrier. Two-sided adjustable cooling of the printed model is provided. By default, the extruder is equipped with replaceable nozzles with a diameter of 0.4 mm. It can be replaced with a nozzle of a different diameter: 0.3, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 or 1.2 mm. You can also replace the hotend with a Teflon one, which supports printing at temperatures up to 250 degrees. Hercules TwinHot V2 allows you to print products with layer thicknesses from 0.02 to 0.9 mm. The IMPRINTA Hercules G3 DUO 3D printer has increased productivity up to 162 cm³/h with a maximum linear speed of 125 mm/s and an idle speed of up to 300 mm/s. The designers managed to achieve printing accuracy of up to 0.002 mm/m and repeatability of 95%. Dual extruder with all metal hotend allows you to work with ABS, PLA, PETG, TPU, CF & GF Composites, PEEK, REKK, BASF 316L& 17-4 PH, use HIPS and PVA support materials, and the extruder with Teflon hotend is suitable for printing SEBS, etc (TBA). The printer uses high-precision mechanical components. The XY axis is equipped with HIWIN 12 mm rail guides, and the Z axis is equipped with 16 mm cylindrical shafts. Also, the XY axis uses a Core-XY (double deck) transmission type with a 10mm GT2 type timing belt, and the Z axis uses an 8mm acme screw. The system uses optical limit sensors. The positioning accuracy of the mechanics is at a high level: 0.01875 mm along the XY axis and 0.0025 mm along the Z axis. To control the 3D printer, a 32-bit Hercules Control Board controller based on the STM32F406 core (or its equivalent) with a clock frequency of 168 MHz, Nema 23 (XY), NEMA17 (Z) and Nema 11 stepper motors for the extruder are used. The controller uses its own Raspbian Rpi OS, Hercules Firmware and Hercules HOST software, compatible with GCODE and DP RTS files. A number of interfaces are available to the user for connection: Ethernet (LAN), Wi-Fi, USB. The printer is also compatible with the proprietary Hercules MDry Station material drying system. IMPRINTA has developed its own software environment for preparing models for 3D printing and monitoring the printing itself. Diaprint Suite software includes the Diaprint Cloud cloud service and the Diaprint PC desktop application. The Diaprint APP mobile application will appear in 2023. Like the younger model, IMPRINTA Hercules G3 DUO has an increased working life. The manufacturer's guaranteed operating time before the first maintenance is 100 kg of material or 5,000 hours of continuous printing.
