3D printer IMPRINTA Hercules G3 is a new professional FDM printer with a high-temperature extruder from the Russian manufacturer IMPRINTA. Possessing the highest technical characteristics, the G3 remains a relatively compact device that is ideal for fast and high-quality printing of functional and conceptual prototypes of any complexity. The fully ready-to-use printer has dimensions of 615x540x864 mm, which allows you to freely place it on your desktop. Its rigid all-metal body has a closed design with excellent thermal insulation. The construction area with dimensions of 300x200x300 mm is located inside an active sealed thermal chamber, in which a constant temperature of up to 65 degrees is maintained. The printing bed, of course, is also heated with a maximum temperature of 150 degrees. There is also an air purification system inside with a replaceable carbon filter. The IMPRINTA Hercules G3 3D printer is equipped with a high-performance Hercules UniHot V4 extruder. This is a high-temperature model that can heat up to 420 degrees. The extruder has active air cooling and an all-metal hotend with a titanium thermal barrier. The model has two-way adjustable cooling. The extruder by default has a replaceable nozzle with a diameter of 0.4 mm. It is quick-release and, if necessary, can be replaced with a nozzle of a different diameter: 0.3, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 or 1.2 mm. The hotend can also be replaced with Teflon if printing will be carried out at temperatures up to 250 degrees. The extruder in combination with high-quality mechanics provides layer thicknesses from 0.02 to 0.9 mm. The printer demonstrates improved performance. It can be up to 162 cm³/h. The maximum linear speed is 125 mm/s, and at idle speed - 300 mm/s. The designers managed to achieve printing accuracy of up to 0.002 mm/m and repeatability of 95%. The G3 model with an all-metal hotend is capable of printing ABS, PLA, PETG, TPU, CF & GF Composites, PEEK, REKK, BASF 316L& 17-4 PH, and with Teflon - SEBS, etc (TBA). For the smoothest and fastest movement of the print head, HIWIN 12 mm rail guides are installed on the XY axis, and 16 mm cylindrical shafts are installed on the Z axis. Also, the XY axis uses a Core-XY (double deck) transmission type with a 10mm GT2 type timing belt, and the Z axis uses an 8mm acme screw. The system uses optical limit sensors. The positioning accuracy of the mechanics is at a high level: 0.01875 mm along the XY axis and 0.0025 mm along the Z axis. The device is controlled using a 32-bit Hercules Control Board controller based on the STM32F406 core (or its equivalent) with a clock frequency of 168 MHz. Nema 23 (XY), NEMA17 (Z) and Nema 11 stepper motors are used for the extruder. The controller uses its own Raspbian Rpi OS, Hercules Firmware and Hercules HOST software, which works with GCODE and DP RTS files. Ethernet (LAN), Wi-Fi, and USB interfaces are used to connect to PCs, mobile devices and the network. If necessary, you can also connect the proprietary Hercules MDry Station material drying system. To prepare models for 3D printing and control the printing itself, proprietary Diaprint Suite software is used, which includes the Diaprint Cloud web service, the Diaprint PC desktop application and the Diaprint APP mobile application (coming in 2023). IMPRINTA Hercules G3 has a high working life. The device must undergo periodic maintenance and its operating time before the first maintenance is 100 kg of material or 5,000 hours of continuous printing.
