3D printer Hercules Strong DUO

The Imprinta Hercules Strong Duo 3D printer is an improved version of the large-format Hercules Strong. From the previous model, it retained a print chamber of the same volume (36 liters), but the mechanics and electronics have undergone a number of changes. The device is equipped with a TwinHot dual extruder of its own design, which allows you to work with two plastics with different properties or colors at once, and double-sided airflow of the model. To protect the inactive nozzle from extrusion, an electrically switched nozzle locking system is provided - the nozzle is raised and closed with valves. This avoids unnecessary loss of material and contamination of the printed model with molten plastic. The transition time from one material to another is 2.3 seconds. The device is equipped with full automatic calibration: adjustment of the nozzle height difference (NBN System), calibration of the printing table, calibration of the zero coordinate in Z. The new Hercules Control Board with a microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex-M3 core uses a 32-bit architecture, which, in combination with modernized electronics and mechanics, high-precision ball screws and a micro-step of 1:128, gives increased positioning accuracy. To print large items that fill the entire chamber, you need a lot of plastic. Therefore, the Hercules Strong Duo has added the ability to install large filament spools weighing up to 5 kg. The Sensitive Check plastic control system allows you to monitor the end of the thread, break or jam and automatically pauses printing. And the light indication of the extruder’s operation will show its condition - the logo on the desktop will turn red when it and the nozzle heat up, or will blink when the Sensitive Check is triggered. The user can choose from 15 types of plastics: ABS, PLA, HIPS, Rubber, PC-ABS, PETG, Carbon, Nylon, POM. FLEX, Eternal, Wood, PVA, PP, SBS, ASA. Thanks to the large construction area, this 3D printer model can be used to create large-scale objects, which is an extremely important advantage for using the device in the fields of mechanical engineering, auto and motorcycle manufacturing, construction, landscape design, and architecture. It is ideal for business - creating accessories, souvenirs, parts for repair work, fittings and prototypes.
