The Formlabs Form 3+ 3D printer is a desktop SLA printer with high print quality. This device allows you to work with a variety of photopolymers. Models can be produced in high resolution thanks to a powerful laser and layer thickness parameters. This device is perfect for both manufacturing enterprises and home 3D printing. Form 3+ uses SLA technology and supports a variety of photopolymer resins from both Formlabs and third-party manufacturers. The device itself is compact: it weighs little and does not take up much space. Also, Form 3+, thanks to software, allows you to optimize the production process. The power of the integrated laser is 250 mW, and the thickness of the printed layer varies from 25 to 300 microns. The resolution of the X and Y axes reaches 25 microns. Thanks to this, Form 3+ supports different materials and also allows you to produce highly detailed objects. The working chamber is hermetically sealed, and the cap is made of a material that does not allow harmful laser radiation to pass through. The support and platform on which the model is printed are lightweight. The platform with the final product can be simply removed from the equipment. After each print, it is recommended to clean the working chamber, as residual photopolymer resin can adversely affect the quality of subsequent prints. It is also recommended to use post-processing equipment to give the product the desired mechanical properties. The resin reservoir and Light Processing Unit technology ensure perfect alignment between printed layers. Form 3+ also uses adaptive layer thickness technology, which independently analyzes the geometry of models and adjusts the thickness parameter. This affects both the detailing of the final objects and the speed of construction. Additionally, Formlabs Form 3+ allows you to switch between materials. To do this, you need to replace the photopolymer cartridge. To control the printing process, Formlabs Form 3+ must be connected to a PC and installed software from the manufacturer. This software has an intuitive interface and also provides advanced functionality.
