Formlabs Form 3B 3D printer
Formlabs has introduced its latest model of the Form 3B 3D printer, which prints using stereolithography technology. The equipment is a desktop printer, which is primarily focused on printing with biocompatible materials. The model is characterized by high accuracy and productivity, which together makes it possible to organize almost continuous production of dental products. The built-in proprietary PreForm software in auto mode prepares a model based on a CAD file. In this case, the software independently selects the optimal print settings to obtain the best result. Thus, when working with Form 3B, you no longer need to spend time and effort on detailed preparation of the model for printing. The printer prints using advanced stereolithography technology – LFS. It is a low-intensity stereolithography. That is, the illumination intensity is reduced, which allows you to obtain perfectly smooth surfaces, high clarity and detail. As a result, the products do not require painstaking post-printing processing. The Form 3B is equipped with a larger print area, which allows you to print a large number of products in one cycle, compared to DLP printers, which have a much smaller print area. This makes the cost of printing and printer maintenance lower. In addition, you can save significant time. When compared with the same DLP printers, using Form 3B can reduce labor costs by approximately 55%. The model is compatible with other branded devices and 3D printers from Formlabs. This means that, if desired, you can create a coherent and coordinated work line for the production of various products. The printer is optimized for use in all dental industries. At the same time, Formlabs developers carefully tested equipment and materials specifically for dental areas, trying to cover all possible options. Materials that are intended for each specific area are produced in cartridges, the installation and replacement of which is easy and simple. PreForm software allows several users to work with a 3D printer at once, sending models for printing. In addition, there is an online panel that allows you to remotely manage all Formlabs devices via an Internet connection.
