Flying Bear Ghost 5 3D Printer
The Flying Bear Ghost 5 3D Printer will surprise you with its quiet printing: advanced drivers and mechanisms make so little noise that you can sleep in the same room as this machine. The printer body is built on a rigid metal frame, which maintains stability during sudden movements of the extruder, and acrylic walls protect the model from dust and drafts. The device comes in a high degree of readiness: the final assembly and calibration of the 3D printer out of the box will not take you too much time. In just a few hours you will be able to replicate the 3D models you like from the Internet and print them over Wi-Fi. The printer supports a wireless connection via Wi-Fi: you can feed files to it for printing without leaving your computer. To do this, just install the MKS Plugin for the Cura slicer. The plastic is fed through a BMG Dual Drive bowden extruder. This design reduces the weight of the print carriage, and the two-gear mechanism reliably dispenses soft plastic, like nylon. Generally speaking, Ghost 5 supports all popular types of plastic: PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, HIPS, Wood, Nylon. The filament end sensor will pause printing in time so you can replenish the plastic supply. The model is printed on a glass table with a matte finish for improved adhesion of the first layer. The table is resistant to thermal stress and quickly heats up to an operating temperature of 60–110 °C. Through the custom menu, you can preheat the table to the desired temperature. Any slicer is suitable for printing on the Flying Bear Ghost 5 - for example, Cura, which is available for 64-bit Windows, macOS and Linux platforms. The program “cuts” the 3D model into separate layers and prepares instructions in the G-Code language that the 3D printer can understand. The final file contains a step-by-step printing algorithm in accordance with the selected parameters - this is what needs to be fed to the printer. By default, the printer loads the printable model from the microSD card. The kit includes a 4 GB microSD card with a USB adapter. Wi-Fi printing is also supported using the MKS plugin - it is available for free among the add-ons within the Cura program.
