Anycubic Kobra 2 3D printer

The Anycubic Kobra 2 3D printer belongs to the new generation of affordable FDM printers from Anycubic for the home. It is superior to the first model in almost every way: it has an automatic leveling function, a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a PEI-coated spring steel sheet, a filament sensor, a power loss recovery function and a print speed of up to 250 mm/s. This affordable, compact and convenient 3D printer is a great solution for home DIY projects and even small businesses. Anycubic Kobra 2 comes as a DIY kit. The base and frame make up the majority of the contents of the box. The kit also includes: print head, LCD touch display, filament sensor, spool holder, assembly materials, necessary tools and power cable. The package also includes a microSD card, a memory card reader and some PLA plastic. Assembly of the Anycubic Kobra 2 is described in the included manual, as well as in a brief illustrated instruction manual, which is quite comprehensive and easy to understand. The entire assembly and setup process takes less than 30 minutes, and all necessary tools are included in the package. After the first turn on, you can begin leveling. In the case of Kobra 2, this happens automatically, thanks to the Anycubic LeviQ 2.0 with an inductive sensor. Once aligned, you can begin your first 3D printing. The new 3D printer looks like the Anycubic Vyper. Its print bed, measuring 23 x 23 cm, is driven by a motor and a belt. If necessary, the tension can be adjusted. The printing itself is done on a PEI-coated spring steel plate. After the printing process is completed and the magnetic plate has cooled down for some time, along with the finished model, you can quickly remove it and, by slightly bending the plate, disconnect the model. A 3D printer allows you to create quite large products with a maximum size of 25 x 22 x 22 cm. On the front panel of the Anycubic Kobra 2 3D printer there is a USB-C port and a microSD card slot, and in the right corner there is a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen display. The power port and power button are on the left. Thanks to several improvements, Kobra 2 is now capable of printing at speeds up to 250 mm/s. This is due in part to the new two-stage direct extruder, which allows for more precise extrusion at high speeds, and the 60W hotend, which allows for faster filament extrusion speeds. The 4W fan provides the necessary cooling, allowing you to print subsequent layers faster. The print head movement is also optimized. SG15 U-bearings, tailored axis design and Z-axis optimization reduce friction, resulting in faster, yet more precise print head movements. Anycubic Kobra 2 comes with an 8GB micro SD card and a memory card reader. Among other things, the memory card contains a manual, various test files in GCode format, and a PrusaSlicer slicer. The software is free, open source and updated regularly. We can say that Anycubic Kobra 2 turned out to be a completely successful successor to the first Kobra. The 3D printer has high quality workmanship, is quick to assemble, and with automatic alignment using a 5×5 dot grid, can be set up in minutes. Thus, Kobra 2 is very suitable for beginners who want to enter the world of 3D printing without unnecessary complications. It will also please advanced users who need a 3D printer with good print quality at high speed and at an affordable price.
