The BiZon 2 mini 3D printer is a compact, high-speed semi-professional solution that belongs to the new generation of devices from the Russian company 3DIY. The printer is built on high-precision CORE XY kinematics, equipped with top-end electronics, has an all-metal body and a closed chamber with dimensions of 200 x 200 x 300 mm. The redesigned CORE XY kinematics is the main difference between the new product and the now familiar Prusa devices. It provides higher printing accuracy and speeds of up to 150 mm/s. The mechanics of the device have also undergone major changes: Wide 10mm straps with high tensile strength; Reliable rail guides with an extended carriage on the X, Y and Z axes; Cylindrical guides with a diameter of 16 mm on the Z axis; Also on the Z axis is a ball screw (ball screw), which increases the rigidity of the platform and increases the printing speed; The holder for a spool of plastic in the latest versions of this model is installed in the working chamber. The semi-professional nature of the new printer is reflected in its packaging. Thus, it received a completely closed metal body made of steel and aluminum composite, additionally reinforced with metal corners. It is a rigid, vibration-resistant and fireproof design. Thanks to the closed working chamber, the printing area is protected from external influences, which allows you to use the most “capricious” types of plastic without fear of large shrinkage. The lower part of the chamber is designed in such a way that it makes it easy to remove plastic waste that inevitably forms during printer operation. The Bizon 2 mini uses the much-loved BondTech extruder with the Dual Drive system. It reliably grips the filament, and the density of this clutch is adjusted with a special screw. Thanks to the presence of a gearbox, the traction force always remains optimal. There is also a guide channel that prevents the rod from tangling and allows the use of flexible filament for printing. A huge advantage of this extruder is its versatility. It works effectively with most types of thermoplastics that exist on the market: ABS, PLA, PETG, HIPS, PVA, FLEX, NYLON, RUBBER, WOOD, PP, PND, PVD, PC, PEEK, CAST, ETERNAL, SEALANT and others. Another significant difference from devices from the Prusa line is the use of directional two-way airflow of the model. A closed compartment with ventilation is provided for electronic components. It is located at the back of the device behind a convenient door. The electronics itself is represented by a 32-bit control board with full Marlin firmware, “quiet” and precise drivers with a microstep of 1/256 and a Russian-language LCD display with a slot for SD memory cards. In order to avoid premature wear of the wiring, it was placed in a cable channel. The BiZon 2 mini 3D printer has the ability to further expand its functionality. Additionally, you can install RGB backlighting and original HiWIN guides on the X and Y axes.
